Pre-Season Check
Not sure if you need a service? A preseason check / run-up works well if –
1. You are out of your engine warranty period
2. You haven’t clocked up many hours since the previous service
3. You haven’t run the engine with old fuel in it.
4. You don’t have any other running issues (ie idling, running cold, hard to start)
If this is the case we recommend a full service every other year, and a pre-season check in between.
A pre-season check involves 12 main checks including but not limited to:
- the fuel filter / water separator
- the Battery
- steering / linkages
- engine temperature/ charging
- gauges working correctly
- oil levels and so on
If the mechanics find something they are not happy with they will let you know.
